Audrey Roloff admitted she's the real reason behind her and Jeremy's recent decision to quit the Little People, Big World series.
According to the Heroes For Her podcast, hosted by Erin Weidenman, Audrey revealed that the cameras made her uncomfortable from the moment she first appeared on the show, RadarOnline.com has learned.
In one instance, Audrey explained that she was worried about the lack of intimacy that filming her wedding would cause.
"I didn't want that to ruin the intimacy of the day," the 27-year-old confessed. "I didn't want it to take away for my friends and family being able to just be themselves."
"You never get used to it honestly," she continued. "My sister-in-law, we always joke, like, 'You never get used to it.' Because we are not created to be in the public eye, it's just a weird thing."
While wanting to respect Jeremy's reality — having been on the show since he was 13 — she says she hoped he would respect her decision not to film every second of her life.
"I kind of had to learn to accept, like, 'Hey, this is part of Jeremy's life and I need to learn to respect it as best as I can,'" she said. "And in the same way he did the same for me, in that, like, I'm a little bit uncomfortable with, like, wearing a microphone under my wedding dress all day."
Audrey also revealed for the first time that some of the biggest moments from their wedding never made it on air.
"We actually had a lot things that wasn't actually filmed on our wedding day so I actually took off my microphone for our first look," she said. "That actually was not filmed. We did a first look and it wasn't on TV or anything. And we took communion and they didn't film that. So there were certain things that I told Jeremy that I wanted those moments to be just ours and he, like, really went to battle for that."
Audrey and Jeremy first revealed they were quitting the show in July of 2018.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Audrey had her eye on embarking on entrepreneurial endeavors away from the show, which included recording the pair's latest podcast, Behind The Scenes.
