Alec Baldwin hates violence — but does he?

In his latest interview with HOLA! the Saturday Night Live actor spoke about his seemingly picture-perfect family life with wife Hilaria and their kids. During the talk, he said his biggest worry as a parent is not being able to protect his children from the evils of the world.

"In my experience, it's tougher to protect them from things you don't want them to see. You point them in the direction of things you want them to know, to things that are important, to things that matter," he said. "Because less than violent or sexual content — and those are concerns of mine — it's the things on social media that are filled with useless content and are a waste of time."

Of course, readers know Baldwin's anti-violence remark comes days after he was arrested for slapping "the sh*t" out of a man who stole his parking spot in the West Village. At the time, the star's kids were inside his car, and likely witnessed him attacking New York resident, Wojciech Cieszkowski, over the misunderstanding.

Though Baldwin, 60, took to Twitter to deny he hit the man, eyewitnesses told otherwise. And while his wife has not commented on the topic, Baldwin was spotted heading off to a mystery apartment in NYC this Sunday — solo.

"I'm a lucky guy. I'm lucky because I love my wife. She's a great person, and our kids are very sweet kids," Baldwin assured in his interview.
