Road To Recovery! 'Alaskan Bush' Star Matt Brown Checks Out Of Rehab

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown has left rehab, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

"Matt voluntarily checked himself out of rehab in late October and he is continuing outpatient treatment at a nearby facility," a source close Brown family told RadarOnline.com. "He is doing really good right now and he is committed to his sobriety. His family is very proud of him."

As part of his post-rehab treatment, the insider told RadarOnline.com, "Matt has been attending recovery meetings and has been working with a sober coach, as well as going to therapy and counseling to battle his addictions."

RadarOnline.com previously reported that the 37-year-old troubled son of Billy, 65, and Ami Brown, 54, entered treatment in late September.

According to sources, he began drinking again after two years of sobriety as a "way to deal with his mother Ami's cancer diagnosis."

Although Matt was initially meant to spend 90 days in the in-treatment program, late last month a source told RadarOnline.com that he was "ready to leave."

"Matt thinks that he is ready to leave after 30 days and everyone is urging him to stay in," a source revealed at the time. "He says that he is almost ready and can handle this on his own now."

This is Matt's second attempt at getting sober.

After his first stint in 2016, Matt discussed his downward spiral with fans and said, "I could see myself spiraling. I was more withdrawn. I was slower and things did not excite me the way that they used to."
