A fun Halloween bash turned into tragedy for seven L.A. partygoers this weekend. While dancing the night away at "The First Purge" party in Riverside's Sevilla Nightclub, a group of innocent people were shot by an incoming stranger.
Bystanders quickly took to Twitter to speak of the incident, with one man saying eh "lowkey freaked out" but was glad everyone was okay.
"I turned around and people (were) shooting," another partygoer told KTLA, adding that fights suddenly broke out on the street and shots were fired. "I ran behind the bar and all of a sudden there was a whole bunch of people crunched up by the exit. I was just praying, like, God get me through this."
While police confirmed to reporters that seven people were transported to the hospital with injuries related to the shooting, none seem to have died.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, The First Purge is a 2018 horror film in which a small community decides to allow all crime to be legal for 12 whole hours. Of course, terror and chaos break loose, and the truly good do what they can to stop evil from taking over.
