Megyn Kelly Demands Massive Payout In NBC Exit & Plots Return To FOX, Source Claims

Amid news she's been axed from NBC, disgraced ex-Today host Megyn Kelly is scheming to take her massive paycheck with her on the way out, sources exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
“NBC and Megyn are already in negotiations on her exit,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “She wants a full buyout.”
"She feels NBC abandoned her, and she’s owed her contract."
And that would be a huge chunk of change. As RadarOnline.com readers know, Kelly was making $23 million a year as part of a three-year contract.
With expenses added in, "it’s a $75 million deal, and she has one more year on it — and she wants all the money.”
But NBC is planning to fight her demands, the source insisted: “The network is trying to buy her out at a lower number."
Padding her bank account isn’t Kelly's only plan for her career future.
According to the source, the 47-year-old has been in secret talks to return to her network TV alma mater, Fox.
“She’s already talking to Fox to go back. There is no room on the schedule, but it could be Fox & Friends," the source claimed.
As RadarOnline.com first reported, she had been plotting a return to Fox for months before her scandal.
However, her jump back to her former network won't be immediate.
"She won’t leave for Fox until NBC guarantees her the money," the source said, adding that she'd like to lay low for the rest of the year and start fresh on Fox in 2019.
Kelly's latest drama began when she shocked her viewers and cohosts alike by defending blackface earlier this week.
“You do get in trouble if you are a white person who puts on blackface for Halloween, or a black person who puts on whiteface for Halloween. Back when I was a kid, that was okay just as long as you were dressing as a character,” Kelly said during the panel discussion October 23.
The outcry on social media was swift, and so was her apology. But it seems it was too little, too late.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Al Roker will take over Kelly's Today time slot at 9 am temporarily, and execs are in talks with Kelly Clarkson to replace her in the longterm.
