An arrest has finally been made in connection to the suspicious packages sent to different government figures and stars in New York City and Florida this week.

CNN reported a man was arrested in connection to the "terror" acts after Sen. Cory Booker and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper were sent explosive packages this Friday to the CNN Manhattan offices.

The package was a manila envelope with six U.S. flag stamps and the return address of Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Authorities say they have no reason to believe she sent any of the packages.

This Thursday, two law enforcement officials told CNN that the packages seemed to have been sent from a shipping company in Opa-locka, Florida.

The man's identity has yet to be revealed, but he has been taken into custody and the DOJ will hold a news conference at 2:30 p.m. ET this Friday regarding the matter.
