Kelly Clarkson Demands $100,000 Playpen For Her Kids On New Talk Show Set
Kelly Clarkson intends to turn her new talk show into a top-of-the-line playpen!
The original American Idol champ, 36, demanded that NBC build a state-of-the-art, $100,000 trailer for her two kids if they wanted her to sign on the dotted line — and she got it!
“It comes with the finest children’s furniture, a stack of all the best toys and cutting-edge electronic equipment,” a network insider told RadarOnline.com.
Though The Kelly Clarkson Show has been sold to only 11 markets thus far, NBC is banking on it to be a success, and they’re bending over backward to please Clarkson and her tots — River Rose, 4, and Remington, 2.
“Kelly went to the producers and demanded that they not only allow her kids to be on set, but that they make it kid-friendly and safe!” said a source close to Kelly and her manager/husband Brandon Blackstock, 41. “If the producers hadn’t agreed, she wouldn’t have done the show!”
