Jill Duggar Enjoys 'Triple Date' With Derick Dillard Amid Latest Controversy

Jill Duggar shared a photo on Instagram on Saturday with husband Derick Dillard and two other couples on a "triple date."

But it was a date done distinctly Duggar-style as the group appeared to be sitting at a conference room table at church!

"Had a great triple date with these ppl last night! ???? ? ? ?? #greatfriends❤️ #greatfood #greatfellowship," Jill, 27, wrote as a caption as all three couples smiled.

The lighthearted moment followed Dillard getting into hot water again, as RadarOnline.com has extensively reported.

Arkansas law student Dillard, who lost his job on the Duggar family TLC TV show, Counting On, for intolerantly slamming fellow network star, transgender Jazz Jennings, spoke out once more earlier this week.

Derick was asked by a fan on Twitter if he and Jill purposely do not attend family events when her Duggar siblings are filming Counting On. The fan also questioned if the network simply edits out the couple if they are in attendance while the cameras roll.

He hinted that the show stages filming in advance.

"TLC is probably not going to invite us if they don't want us there," Derick responded.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Derick, 29, was fired from the show in 2017 after disparaging Jennings-- and he and Jill have not appeared on it since.

Incredibly, last month, Derick blasted TLC for airing "filth" – even though Counting On still stars his wife's sisters and their husbands!

Derick and Jill are raising sons Israel, 3, and Samuel, 1, but he doesn't appear to have a steady job.

However, Jill recently took fans by surprise by boasting that her husband "works all day."

Derick has brought the entire family with him as he studies at law school.
