Childhood Hell! Killer Aaron Believed Sexual Abuse ‘Made Him Gay,' Says Lawyer

Aaron Hernandez believed the sexual abuse he endured as a child is what made him gay, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The late NFL star made the shocking claim about his sex secrets to his lawyer, George Leontire, while he was behind bars, the Boston Globe Spotlight Team reported first on their podcast, Gladiator.

“Hernandez seemed to think the sexual abuse had made him gay,” the Globe learned.

The professional athlete’s attorney also told the outlet that Hernandez had been molested “fairly intensely” as a kid. His abuser has yet to be named.

Leontire told the outlet that the childhood nightmare resulted in Hernandez suffering from “self-hatred.”

Years later, Hernandez was awaiting trial for murder in his prison cell when he finally decided to tell his mother about his childhood hell.

“Hernandez found the courage to tell his mother that he was gay, and that he had been molested as a child,” according to the Gladiator podcast.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Hernandez’s high school lover, Dennis SanSoucie, recently claimed the two had a secret intimate relationship as teens.

The accused killer even grew up in a household where being gay was not allowed by his father, Dennis.

SanSoucie said he believed the reason Hernandez covered his body in tattoos later in life was to mask his bisexuality.

Hernandez hanged himself in his prison cell in April 2017. It wasn't until after his death that an inmate claimed to have been his male lover behind bars.
