Denise Richards is pulling out all the stops to become a real housewife! As RadarOnline.com has learned, the blonde bombshell just got engaged to boyfriend Aaron Phypers!
Seeing as the hunk’s divorce is now finalized, he and Richards, 47, want to be married “sooner than later,” a source told PEOPLE.
“The engagement has been a long time coming. He moved on from his past relationship a long time ago, and marrying Denise is a welcome new chapter for both of them in different but equally significant ways,” added the insider. “The two of them are very happy and have settled into life with one another, so now they’re pretty focused on getting this very intimate ceremony off the ground. They’re just ready to start their married life together.”
The happy news comes weeks after Richards joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Now, with a diamond ring on her finger, she will likely be better welcomed into the diva group.
RadarOnline.com readers know Phypers finalized his divorce from Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan, 54, just last month. The two separated two years ago, after six months of marriage. Meanwhile, Richards divorced Charlie Sheen, 53, in 2006, after two daughters and four years of marriage.
Richards and Phypers began dating in December 2017, but according to a source close to them, their engagement did not come as a surprise.
Plus, after all the drama with their exes, the love birds want nothing more than a low-key ceremony.
“Denise and Aaron just want a small group of people to be at the wedding, really just their inner circle,” the source said. “They’ve both done this before and this time just want to exchange vows in front of the people who are most important.”
