Nicki Minaj and Cardi B got into it Friday night at a New York Fashion Week party when Minaj almost got slapped in the face by a flying shoe, allegedly thrown by Cardi.

According to an eyewitness, the brawl started just before 8 p.m. when Cardi approached Minaj's table. The source noted Cardi slithered over to Minaj and when security realized something was about to go down, they snatched her.

The drama got violent when Minaj allegedly made comments about Cardi's parenting skills, according to a statement Cardi put out on Instagram. "When you mention my child … make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f-----' off!!"

As readers know, the two have been going at it for a while, dating back to when Minaj indicated Cardi hurt her feelings.

Cardi supposedly slipped her shoe off and whaled it in Minaj's direction but ultimately missed, according to a source at the party.

"Cardi's dress was ripped off too," the source tells exclusively. "Cardi was dragged out .. with one shoe on."

According to a source at Harper's Bazaar Icons Party, Cardi appeared "really roughed up" following the intense brawl at the iconic Plaza Hotel.

Aguilera took the stage – but guests were more concentrated on the dramatic exit by Cardi.

"Cardi was screaming and yelling the entire time, even as she was dragged out!" a guest at the lavish event told

Enraged Cardi used a number of choice words in the statement she wrote on Instagram, stating "b----es talk all that s--- in they raps but in real life they p----!!"

Luckily for Cardi, a member of her camp allegedly slapped someone across the face during the scuffle.
