Kirstie Alley Admits She 'Did Fall In Love' With John Travolta While They Were Both Married!

Kirstie Alley just can't get over her love for John Travolta!

During a talk on "The Dan Wootton Show Podcast," the actress admitted that one of the toughest decisions she ever had to make was to force herself to stop pursuing her handsome "Look Who's Talking" costar.

"I was married for most of my career. I lived a pretty boring life, although I'm sort of eccentric," Alley, 67, started off saying.

The actress then explained that unfortunately, she was married to Parker Stevenson in the late '80s and early '90s, when she filmed the movie series with Travolta, 64.

"Yes, I did fall in love with him. But it wasn't a sexual relationship because I wasn't going to cheat on my husband. I considered what I did even worse (than having a sexual relationship, an affair) because I fell in love with him and I stayed in love with him for a long time," said Alley.

"I still love him. But I'm not in love with him anymore," she added.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Travolta married Kelly Preston in 1991, and is with her until this day.

Alley recalled a time when she was openly flirting with Travolta on set and Preston, 55, came up to her saying: "Why are you flirting with my husband?"

"Kelly's been my best friend for a long time. I knew I had to make a decision… I'm either going to be this creepy girl who flirts with her husband," said Alley. "Flirting is a form of cheating. I just had to make a decision."

While she knows she made the right choice for everyone, Alley still feels pain over what could've been.

"I will say it's one of the hardest things I've ever done, one of the hardest decisions I had to make cause I was madly in love with him. He's an amazing guy and we just hit it, just fun and funny together," she said. "I made a decision and that was sort of the end of that."

Speaking of all the gay rumors surrounding Travolta, Alley said they are absolutely untrue.

"I think John and I are definitely kindred spirits but John and I would have devoured one another. We're so alike. It would have burned out," she said, explaining their sexual tension on set.
