Kenya Moore Gunning To Replace Julie Chen On 'The Talk' After 'RHOA' Axe
Just moments after Julie Chen revealed she's leaving The Talk, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned fired former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore is already gunning for the gig!
"Kenya wants that seat on The Talk and she’s working overtime behind the scenes to get the job," a source said.
The bitter reality star wasn't ready to let her flame fade after she was axed from the hit Bravo series. "She desperately wants to outshine all those b***hes on RHOA and believes a job on The Talk would gag those girls."
Moore, 47, was fired from BRAVO's hit reality show after refusing to share intimate aspects of her life on camera, including her marriage.
The informant tells RadarOnline.com Moore, who is expecting her first child with husband Marc Daly in November, will jump right back into work and the daytime talk show will be high on her list of priorities.
"She’s had her people talk to production and is eager to give birth right away so she can put her energy into this opportunity."
RadarOnline.com readers know that Chen was absent from the hit daytime talk show after her husband, former CEO of CBS Les Moonves, was forced out after sexual misconduct allegations.
RadarOnline.com first reported Chen, 48, was planning to walk away last night.
She confirmed RadarOnline.com's report when she announced Tuesday, September 18 that she will not return to the show.
“I have been at The Talk since the day it began,” Chen said in a pre-taped message on the CBS talk show Tuesday afternoon. “Right now, I need to spend more time at home with my husband and young son. So I have decided to leave The Talk.”

“I want to thank everyone at the show for the wonderful years together. I will always, always cherish the memories we shared.”
“Most important, I want thank you, the viewers, for allowing me into your home everyday. It was a privilege that I will forever be grateful for. To everyone behind the scenes I send you my love. I will miss you all very very much.”
She then thanked cohosts Eve, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Sara Gilbert for their “sisterhood.”
“You ladies got this, and I cannot be more proud to call you my friends,” she concluded.
“Thank you so much Julie for the kind words,” Gilbert responded. “I created this show as a place for friends to come together. And I know I speak for all the hosts when I say we thank you for eight years of dear friendship and for all you did to contribute to success of the show. We love you Julie.”
CBS CEO Moonves resigned from his position after several women came forward accusing him of sexual harassment.
Chen will always stand by him, a source told RadarOnline.com last week.
