Amanda Stanton was arrested for domestic abuse during a boozy Bachelorette party – but her legal troubles don't end there. RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the Bachelor in Paradise star was hit with two financial lawsuits this year.
In court papers obtained from Orange County Superior Court, Discover Bank sued Stanton, 28, for $1,379.52, demanding she pay up her default credit card bill.
"This account was for credit card purchases and/or cash advances on the credit card issued by Plaintiff for which Defendant was billed monthly and failed to dispute," the complaint filed on May 11, 2018 read. "Neither the whole nor any part of the sum has been paid, although payment has been demanded, leaving a balance due, owing and unpaid to Plaintiff in the principal amount of $1,379.52."
On May 20, 2018, the court attempted to serve Stanton at her Irvine, California apartment.
"Subject buzzed me in yet didn't answer door when I knocked," the court papers read. "No answer at door, noise inside."
The Process Server attempted to hit Josh Murray's ex-fiancée with the filing again on May 24, May 29, June 3, June 7, July 4, July 6 and July 9 with no luck. The court documents claim she was finally served on August 1, 2018.
The court case remains pending.
Before the Discover Bank suit, the mother of daughters Kinsley and Charlie was sued for unlawful detainer along with ex-fiancé Murray, who she split from in February 2017, on March 15, 2018.
Plaintiff Centerpointe Spectrum Apartments, LLC claimed Stanton and Murray, who didn't appear to be living there at the time, agreed to a 14-month lease for the monthly amount of $3,900 on September 30, 2016. On September 5, 2017, the rental amount increased to $5,070.
Stanton and Murray were served with a 3-day notice to pay rent or quit on March 5, 2018 after failing to pay one month's rent of $5,070. The Plaintiff is also asking for reasonable attorney fees, forfeiture of the agreement and other fees in the amount of $142.95.
The landlord filed a complaint to recover possession of the premises. According to court documents, Stanton was served on March 22, 2018. A judgment was entered against her and Josh Murray with a notice to surrender the premises.
The case was disposed on April 12, 2018.
Stanton was arrested on September 10, 2018 for domestic battery against her boyfriend Bobby Jacobs.
"Police responded to a Battery Domestic Violence call at a Hotel 3100 block of S Las Vegas Blvd," the Las Vegas Police Department told Radar.
A physical altercation took place in a hotel room where it is alleged that Stanton battered her boyfriend. Hotel security was notified and police were called. She was released on Monday.
Stanton's rep released in a statement, "Amanda is embarrassed and ashamed this happened and sincerely apologizes to hotel security and the Las Vegas Police Department. Amanda is a gentle, respectful person who has never gotten physical with anyone under any circumstance."
