‘Southern Charm’ Twist: Thomas Changes Cheating Story After Legal Threat From Ashley

Thomas Ravenel changed his story about Ashley Jacobs cheating on him after a legal threat from his enraged ex-girlfriend, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

The Southern Charm star sent a series of tweets implying that his ex-girlfriend was unfaithful. She took the drastic step of contacting his lawyer, an insider snitched to RadarOnline.com.

“Ashley was so upset that Thomas accused her of cheating, even if it wasn’t by name, everyone knows it was about her,” the source revealed. “She called his attorney super upset about what he wrote, and Thomas quickly put up the new statement.”

He tweeted on Wednesday, August 29, “I have no information that Ashley Jacobs ever cheated on me. In fact as far as I know she has always been true and faithful especially during the really dark times. She didn’t deserve my insinuations to the contrary.”

Just three days earlier Ravenel, who is under investigation for a sexual assault charge in his hometown of Charleston, South Carolina, tweeted, “Today, my personal life just took a huge upward turn. I finally have more than enough information to move forward without any doubt or hesitation and I’ll never look back. After 30 years I finally understand the lyrics from that wonderful Chicago tune: If she would have been faithful / if she could have been true / then I would have been cheated / I would have never known real love.”

As RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed, Ravenel and Jacobs had been secretly hooking up after their breakup. He had trouble officially ending their year-long romance.

“Thomas and Ashley still hang out,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “He is still holding onto something. He just can’t totally end it.”
