Cops are searching for a man wanted for burglary at the apartment of murdered Playboy model Christina Carlin-Kraft and RadarOnline.com has exclusive details about the charges against him.
Carlin-Kraft was found strangled inside her Philadelphia-area condo on August 22. Now, police are searching for a man identified as Andre Melton, 31, who they believe robbed her luxury condo days before her death.
Action News in Philadephia was the first to report the new development. Court records on file in Montgomery, Pennsylvania show Melton is wanted on four charges for an alleged break-in on Aug. 19, 2018.
According to the documents, Melton is wanted for burglary, criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
Before the model was murdered, Kraft had reported the robbery and said her designer purses and jewelry were stolen.
Melton has not been named as a suspect in the murder.
Police said he was driving a rented 2018 burgundy Kia Sorento with Virginia plates.
According to Action News 6 in Philadelphia, the car was spotted by police using plate recognition software when it passed an officer’s car. The policeman turned around but lost sight of the vehicle.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Carlin-Kraft’s boyfriend, Alex Ciccotelli Jr. spent a day in the Lower Merion Township Police Department after her murder.
His uncle, David Ciccotelli, told RadarOnline.com “The police were asking him questions,” but he did not believe his nephew was being treated as a suspect.
