Heartbreak & Joy! Dina Manzo Reveals Engagement & Secret Miscarriage

Dina Manzo dropped a double bombshell on Wednesday, admitting that she was secretly engaged to her boyfriend and that she suffered a tragic miscarriage.

The former Real Housewives of New Jersey star, who was brutally attacked in her home with her boyfriend, David Cantin, told Jeff Lewis on his Sirius XM radio show that she was engaged and was pregnant but ultimately lost the baby.

She confessed to her fellow Bravolebrity friend Lewis that she and Canin “got engaged last year,” and said that any wedding plans would be secret.

“You’ll learn about it after,” she said about the actual marriage

Manzo and Cantin were punched and beaten with baseball bats by masked intruders who had broken into their New Jersey home in May 2017. The assaults were so terrifying that the pair fled New Jersey and relocated to California.

She even claimed after the attack that she would no longer wear any jewelry, and she didn’t say if she had an engagement ring or not.

Cantin also confirmed the engagement and teased a wedding, telling Lewis they were “going to make it happen.”

But amid the happy news Manzo revealed that prior to the attack she had a miscarriage.

Recalling a wild night out where “Gage almost died,” Lewis joked about a booze fueled evening in LA.

“I had nothing to do with you almost dying,” Manzo told Lewis’ boyfriend, Gage Edward.

“We left three quarters into the night. We left you guys in West Hollywood because Dave got in a fight with a bouncer and we got in an Uber and went home,” she laughingly recalled.

Then Manzo dropped the pregnancy bombshell. “I got knocked up that night. Not by a random.”

Lewis seemed shocked. “Wait, you got knocked up? What are you talking about?” he asked her.

“Well I had a miscarriage,” Manzo, who is 46 now, admitted, explaining: “I’m not laughing about the miscarriage. But come on, I was 44. Who knew you could get pregnant at 44?”
