Demi’s Ex Wilmer To Visit Her In Rehab: ‘She’s Still Madly In Love With Him’

Demi Lovato’s ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama was one of the first people to rush to her side following the “Sober” singer’s horrific drug overdose last month.

And now, more than two weeks later, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the actor is planning to visit his former love in rehab, where a source told RadarOnline.com she is expected to remain for up to three months.

“Wilmer has been there for Demi every second since the overdose,  and he is planning to fly to visit her in rehab, possibly as soon as this weekend,” a source close to Lovato told RadarOnline.com.  “All he has ever wanted was for Demi to stay sober, and this whole situation just breaks his heart.”

As fans know, Lovato, 25, and Valderrama, 38, dated for six years until 2016, when they announced their split on Instagram.

The pair remained close after the breakup, and in February, the duo was spotted looking cozy on a lunch date at Sol y Luna restaurant in San Fernando Valley, California.

However, according to the source, the two parted ways again following Lovato’s recent relapse this spring.

But now, “Demi has come clean to him about everything that happened — and she is still madly in love with him,” the insider told RadarOnline.com. “He knows this, and he is very much in love with her too.”

Now, Lovato's family is hoping the two will get back together after she reaches a stable place of recovery in her addiction battle.

“Her entire family is so grateful for him, and they all just hope that this brings the two of them back together," the source said. "They think Wilmer brings out the best in Demi.”
