SJP Goes M.I.A. As Former Friend Cynthia Nixon Runs For N.Y. Governor

While Cynthia Nixon hastily hosts a ton of expensive fundraisers to raise money for her Gubernatorial bid, RadarOnline.com has learned her Sex and The City friend and co-star Sarah Jessica Parker is nowhere to be found!

“Sarah threw a big $40,000 per person fundraiser at her West Village townhouse for President Obama, yet she hasn’t had one for Cynthia,” sources tell NaughtyGossip.com’s STRAIGHT SHUTER “It would be easy for Sarah to call a bunch of her super-rich friends and have an event to raise money, but she just doesn’t seem interested.”

As RadarOnline.com revealed, Parker, 53, was the last of the SATC ladies to offer her endorsement, and waited more than a week before posting a public message of support on Instagram.

“In reality, Sarah has never been close with any of her co-stars,” the source told Shuter. “Now her actions are speaking louder than any words.”

When Nixon first announced her plans to run for Governor of New York back in March, her fashionista co-stars almost immediately congratulated her. Since then, donations from Hollywood’s biggest names have come pouring in.

Alec Baldwin has donated $16,000 to her campaign, while Susan Sarandon and Lena Dunham have each gifted $10,000. Even Mr. Big himself, Christopher Noth, has kicked in $2,500.

In all, Nixon has reportedly raised over $16 million in her fight against incumbent governor, Andrew Cuomo, but records reveal Parker has contributed only $5,000 to that total.

The lack of support is raising questions about just how close the ladies really are following the six year run of their hit tv show and two movies.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Kim Cattrall and Parker have been locked in a bitter feud ever since plans for a third SATC movie fell through.

“Kim is the only one to speak up and publicly confess to the truth about the ladies’ friendship,” the source confessed.
