A crazed South Dakota mom who beat her toddler to death for wetting the bed has just been sentenced to 40 years in prison.
As RadarOnline.com has learned, Katrina Shangreaux pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for murdering 2-year-old son, Kylen Shangreaux, two years ago.
According to the Rapid City Journal, Shangreaux, 30, admitted she hit Kylen with a studded belt after he peed in the bed. Then, she threw him to the ground, kicked him in the stomach and head and bit him all over his body.
The toddler suffered from 111 external injuries, and about 70% of his body was covered in bruises. He also had broken ribs and had bleeding in his brain and abdomen due to the brutal physical abuse brought upon by his own mother. The boy also had severe injuries to his groin at the time of his death.
The outlet reported that Katrina did not call 911 until three hours after the toddler’s passing, and by then, her mother had helped her clean his body and cover up the crime.
