Michelle Williams Checks Herself Into Mental Facility For Depression

Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams has reportedly checked into a mental health center to deal with depression.

In a personal posting on Instagram, Williams, 37 discussed her pain and problems.

“For years I have dedicated myself to increasing awareness of mental health and empowering people to recognize when it’s time to seek help, support and guidance from those that care about your wellbeing,” she wrote.

“I recently listened to the same advice I gave to thousands around the world and sought help from a great team of healthcare professionals,” she continued. “Today I proudly, happily and healthily stand here as someone who will continue to always lead by example as I tirelessly advocate for the betterment of those in need.

“If you change your mind, you can change your life.”

According to reports, the singer checked herself into a facility outside Los Angeles just a few days ago.

As RadarOnline.com has reported, Williams has battled depression before, and shocked fans when she admitted to contemplating suicide during the height of her fame with the girl group, which included Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland.

“I’m in one of the top-selling female groups of all time, suffering with depression,” Williams, admitted while guest co-hosting The Talk in 2017.
