A suspect has finally been detained in connection to the murder of Olympic figure skater Denis Ten.

According to Reuters, Kazakhstan’s Interior Ministry released a statement this Friday, confirming that they’d identified two suspects, and gained custody of one. His photo has reportedly been released.

RadarOnline.com readers know the 25-year-old athlete was stabbed by two men who were trying to steal his car mirrors this Thursday. He was transported to the hospital but died shortly after from his injuries.

When news of his passing spread, various admirers and friends took to social media to share their sadness and honor his memory.

Ten’s death is being treated as a murder, according to the AP.
