Britney Spears' Father 'Offers' Kevin Federline More Child Support Money
Britney Spears' father has reportedly offered her ex-husband Kevin Federline more child support money to end his legal fight against the pop star. According to The Blast, a source says Jamie Spears, who still handles his daughter's affairs, contacted K-Fed with the offer believed to be around an additional $10,000 a month.
The extra money would mean Federline would receive a total about $30,000 per month to care for the couple's two children.
Federline, 40, and Spears, 36, married in 2004 and split in 2006 after having two sons, Sean, 12, and Jayden, 11. Spears and KFed's divorce was finalized in July 2007, but they were still fighting over the custody arrangement. Eventually, a judge granted Federline primary custody of their kids, citing her drug-and-alcohol-fueled lifestyle at that time. She has since cleaned up her act.
Federline gave his boys by Spears a new stepmom in 2013, when he married former volleyball player Victoria Prince. They had two children together. The down-on-his-luck former dancer and reality star has had trouble making money and recently went to court in February 2018 to demand more child support from the "Gimme More" singer.
As RadarOnline.com has revealed, in court papers, Federline claims that Sean and Jayden live in near poverty with him in a tiny rental home. The legal docs revealed that Federline is asking that his millionaire pop icon ex-wife pony up more money to him in child support and he wants Spears to reveal her true income.
While he has very little to offer his boys, the kids live like kings when they’re visiting Spears, Federline has alleged.

He has claimed he has no savings or assets whatsoever, and his wife Prince does not bring in any income. Federline reportedly receives $20,000 a month from the "Toxic" singer in child support for their two sons now. Although Spears cannot have full custody of the boys while under her dad’s conservatorship, “she absolutely will not allow Kevin to take advantage of her,” a source has told Us Weekly about the fierce money wrangle.
Spears' father Jamie has made Federline the new offer but The Blast reports that K-Fed's "attorney is digging his heels in on letting his client accept the offer."
Federline's team "believes he is owed much more than just an extra $10K, considering Britney is such a high earner," the source said.
The star contends that she already pays her ex more than enough to provide for their two boys and give them a proper lifestyle.
Spears has said in court docs that she shells out for just about everything, including private school and extracurricular activities. The Blast has reported that Federline has already racked up more than $80,000 in legal fees fighting Spears for more child support. But now, Jamie is trying to cut a deal with him.
