The morbid post has since been deleted after fans went into a frenzy questioning whether or not something serious happened to the television star. While he proved he is still very much alive, Ami and Billy Brown's son insisted the stunt was "definitely not a joke!"

Bear confessed on the photo sharing platform that he was "sorry" for the confusion, but that he was "very serious" because the announcement was allegedly related to a new project he has in the works.

"It's definitely not a joke!!" he continued. "Those posts are from a project! I thought I made that clear!! I've been working on a homemade movie since my time in LA@ Thank you for the concern!! And sorry for the misunderstanding!!"

Fans were quick to call out the self-proclaimed "king of extreme" for not actually ever making it clear he was kidding.

"Sweetie people can't read your mind…." one fan wrote.

The family's youngest daughter, Rain, especially dealt with the pain of potentially losing her mom. She opened up about dealing with depression while the family lived in Los Angeles.
