Sarah Hyland Shares Photo Of ‘Torn’ Face After Sudden Hospitalization

Sarah Hyland was hospitalized this Monday, June 18, after suffering complications from her debilitating kidney disease, RadarOnline.com has learned.

This Friday, the beloved Modern Family star finally came clean about her unexpected ER visit and gave fans an update on her health.

“Sometimes a selfie is more than just a good angle or feelin’ cute. This time for #NationalSelfieDay, I’ve decided to share my truth. As painful as it is,” wrote Hyland, 27, on a shocking Instagram Story photo of her swollen face. “So here is my face that was torn from work against my will. But I’m very grateful it was. Health should always come first.”

The brunette stunner then shared a video of her lying in bed and cuddling with her pup, who sweetly licked her face as she filmed.

“Can’t wait to come back to my precious angel princess. She’s perfect and knows exactly what I need at all times. This was taken this past Sunday. Day before hospitalization. She was literally telling me to get treatment,” wrote Hyland.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Hyland has previously opened up about her disease, telling fans in May that she had basically been on bed rest for the past few months and was told by doctors that she could not work out until further notice. She was also pictured showing her kidney transplant surgery scar in a crop top following her announcement.
