Alexis & Jim Bellino Come To Custody Agreement, Insist Divorce Was Made ‘With Love’

One week after they filed court papers, former Real Housewives of Orange County stars Alexis and Jim Bellino are insisting their decision to divorce has been made with “love.”

In a statement obtained by RadarOnline.com, the couple said:

“It is with heavy hearts that we inform the public of our mutual decision to end our marriage—but it's important to us that you know we made this choice together, with love, and as the best decision for our children's future.”

“We hold one another in the highest regards as spouses, and especially as parents. We have agreed on 50/50 custody of the children, and we ask that you respect our privacy by not theorizing about the reasons for our divorce.”

Though the pair went on to claim there is “no ill will or bad blood” between them, RadarOnline.com previously reported that Jim, the divorce petitioner, requested spousal support from his estranged wife, who was a star on the Bravo show for four years before she was fired in 2013. While he requested support, Jim asked the court to deny Alexis support.

The couple married on April 6, 2005, but left the date of separation as “to be determined.”

They have three children: James, 12, and 10-year-old twins Melania and MacKenna.
