President Trump Shakes Hands With Kim Jong Un In Historic Meeting
In a historic meeting, President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met Tuesday morning local time in Singapore, RadarOnline.com can report.
The unprecedented gathering marks the first time a United States president and a North Korean leader have ever met.
The men greeted each other with extended hands in front of a row of US and North Korean flags.
After shaking hands for cameras, the two leaders gathered for a one-on-one private chat.
The President patted the North Korean on the back and later placed his hand Jong-Un's shoulder before the private discussion.
"I feel really great. We'll have a great discussion," Trump said at the beginning of the meeting. "This will be tremendously successful," he continued. "We will have a terrific relationship"
Jong-Un also touched on the longstanding hostility between North Korea and the United States.
