What Are They Hiding? Jon & Kate Gosselin Demand Court Seal $132K Lawsuit
Bitter exes Jon and Kate Gosselin don’t want the world to know they’re fighting over finances.
RadarOnline.com can exclusively report that the former reality TV husband and wife requested a Pennsylvania court seal their recent lawsuit so the public cannot view it.
According to court records viewed by RadarOnline.com, the Berks County Prothonotary’s Office in Pennsylvania received an order on June 18 to gag and seal the entire civil action.
RadarOnline.com first reported the news that Kate filed a lawsuit against Jonathan in March. The mom of eight demanded Jon cough up more than $132,000.
The famed reality mom did not specify why she demanded the money from her ex in the first place. Jon, however, refused to pay, and lawyered up.
Up until June 17, the nasty legal battle cost the former Jon & Kate Plus Eight stars money just for filing. Kate already had dropped over $300 for filing fees, while Jon’s response cost him nearly $200, court records showed.
In 2012, RadarOnline.com reported the father of eight owed over $3,500 in child support payments. Kate, however, voluntarily relieved Jon of child support allegations for their eight kids after the famed dad said he couldn’t afford it.
The exes are still locked in a years-long custody battle over their kids. Jon has fueled rumors he gained custody of Hannah, 14, recently after the father-daughter duo posted several photos together in recent weeks.
