Courteney Cox is so excited about marrying longtime fiancé Johnny McDaid this summer that she’s doing it twice!
RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively the former Friends cutie, 54, is planning two wedding ceremonies and four outfit changes on two continents!
The on-off, now on-for-good couple will first say their vows in rocker McDaid’s hometown in Derry, Northern Ireland.
Then the pair will travel to Malibu, Calif., to say “I do” again in front of Cox’s Hollywood family and friends, including maid of honor Jennifer Aniston!
“Courteney wants to do the right thing by Johnny’s loved ones and make it easy for them to see them tie the knot,” dished a source close to the “Scream” star.
“It’s expensive to fly from Ireland to L.A., so Courteney thought the best solution was to have two ceremonies — one in Northern Ireland and another in America.
But she’s not skimping on spending at either ceremony. For starters, the source says Cox plans to hire private jets to fly in friends and family — and her outfits for each wedding are going to cost a fortune!
The “Cougar Town” actress, who’s worth an estimated $120 million, will wear different gowns at each ceremony, and at both receptions.
British designer Jenny Packham and celeb favorites Vera Wang and Zuhair Murad have been tapped to whip up her wardrobe, insiders revealed.
“Courteney wants to look different for the photos at both ceremonies. The climate in Ireland and Los Angeles is very different, so she wants to wear clothes that fit each environment!” the source spilled.
The L.A. reception will be “far more lavish,” since McDaid — a songwriter and guitarist with the band Snow Patrol — has said he prefers a more sedate affair in Northern Ireland.
But Cox will spare no expense on food and entertainment, according to insiders.
Several of L.A.’s top chefs have been approached to cater the reception, and pop star Ed Sheeran, who introduced the couple in 2013, will perform at both affairs!
Cox and McDaid, 41, have had problems in the past, breaking off their engagement in 2015, before rekindling their romance a year later.
But insiders told RadarOnline.com they’ve put their troubles behind them and are more than ready to tie a double knot.
In fact, they’re so solid that McDaid urged Cox to invite her ex, actor David Arquette, to the L.A. soirée — and he said, “I will!”
