Carrie’s Brother Tells All On Horrific Last Relapse Before Death: She Drove High With Daughter Billie

Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher put her daughter in danger before she suddenly died with drugs in her system, RadarOnline.com has learned.

In her brother’s new memoir, My Girls: A Lifetime with Carrie and Debbie, Todd Fisher shockingly revealed that Carrie, who battled a drug addiction throughout her life, once drove high with her daughter, Billie Lourd, now 25, in the car.

“One day, high as a kite, she drove Billie and a few of Billie’s friends to a nearby mall for a good old over-the-top shopping fix,” Todd explained.

But Carrie’s “closest allies” knew the actress wasn’t in the right state of mind and called the Billie’s father, Bryan Lourd.

“They called Bryan and told him that Carrie was using heavily again and had even gotten behind the wheel with Billie in the car,” Todd continued.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, a toxicology report obtained by RadarOnline.com in 2017 showed Debbie Reynolds’ daughter relapsed on drugs and alcohol shortly before her death.

In his memoir about both his sister and mother – who died one day following Carrie’s sudden death – Todd revealed the family was aware that his sister’s issues with substance abuse issues never went away.

“It was no secret among us that Carrie had never really stopped self-medicating,”wrote the famed brother.

Carrie was found to have cocaine, methadone, ethanol, and opiates in her system when she died no Dec. 27, 2016, a toxicology report confirmed. She was 60.

On Dec. 28, 2016, Reynolds passed away from a stroke at the age of 84. The mother-daughter duo were buried at the same grave site in Burbank, California.

In a touching tribute at the end of the book, Todd credited Carrie’s daughter for keeping her mom alive for as long as she lived.

“You’re the reason we had Carrie for so many extra innings,” Todd wrote.
