While the beauty is living her best life, and looking her best self, fans know it wasn’t always the case. Back in 2016, her tumultuous relationship with Drake caused quite the scandal — and the heartbreak.
Readers know the 31-ear-old rapper awkwardly confessed his love for Rihanna while presenting her with an award on the VMAs stage.
“Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast,” Rihanna admitted in her interview.
When asked about how their relationship is now, the singer simply replied: “We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.”
Sorry Drake!
