Princess Diana's former butler Paul Burrell was ejected from today's royal wedding.

The former trusted aide – who infamously wrote a book about Diana and who is now a media pundit – was photographed trying to get into a private area in Windsor today.

But the 59-year-old was prevented from entering because he did not have the correct credentials.

He was not formerly invited to today's wedding after being critical of the royal family in the past.

Burrell said earlier this week that Princess Diana would be with Harry and Meghan "in spirit" when they exchanged vows today.

The openly gay former butler to Diana has been accused of cashing in on his time spent serving the royal family after he released a book in 2003.

The former butler also appeared on an Australian version of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! that reportedly upset them.

RadarOnline.com previously reported how Burrell would prepare foods that Diana could easily throw-up aiding her bulimia.
