Heir-Raising Retreat! William & Kate’s Newborn Son Sleeps In Haunted Nursery
RadarOnline.com can reveal Kate Middleton and Prince William’s son will be raised in a nursery haunted by three ghosts! The Royal couple’s third child, Louis, will spend his formative years sleeping in a room at Kensington Palace that has become a “notorious spot” for sightings of other-worldly ghouls.
The room is also where Kate and William’s eldest son Prince George, 4, and 2-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte, were nursed after their births.
“Prince George’s nursery in Apartment 1A of Kensington Palace has been a notorious spot for ghost sightings,” noted Royal biographer Andrew Morton, famous for his biography of Princess Diana.
“Royal children are traditionally brought up in what has become known as the ‘haunted nursery’ as a matter of ingrained tradition,” explained a source close to the royals. “Kate and William have not spotted anything spooky there yet, and until they do, the room will continued to be used as a nursery for the newborns.”
“They aren’t that fussed at the moment because apparently the ghosts don’t just haunt the nursery,” added the source. “They have been seen and heard all over Kensington Palace.”
The three ghosts said to roam the nursery at Kensington Palace are the specters of bygone royalty George II, Caroline of Brunswick and Princess Sophia.
“Princess Margaret’s housekeeper told her she saw a woman in Regency dress suddenly appear in front of her then vanish through a wall,” noted Morton around the time George was inhabiting the creepy nursery. “I don’t believe any exorcism has been carried out, so let’s hope little Prince George can sleep peacefully in his cot at night.”

German-born king George II died of heart failure aged 77 in 1760 staring out a window of Kensington Palace, the same spot where his ghost has been seen, muttering to itself.
King George’s banished wife Caroline of Brunswick died blind and lonely there in 1821, but she is said to still stalk the grand residence’s hallways.
And Princess Sophia died at Kensington Palace in 1848 but it has been claimed the sound of her spinning wheel can still be heard.
Ignoring the hauntings, Kate, 36, and William, 35, moved their family from their Anmer Hall home in Norfolk into Kensington Palace in January.
Despite the couple’s bravery, one royal who refuses to live anywhere known as a ghost hotspot is Duchess of Cornwall Camilla.
The 70-year-old was so afraid of a poltergeist she fears haunts Prince Charles’ Scottish house in Dumfries she refused to visit the stately home until it was fully renovated.
“It had a really eerie feel about it. There was definitely a ghost. Without a shadow of a doubt,” Camilla has said.
“I remember the first time I walked up the steps, got into the hall and I thought I can’t go any further. I literally froze. If my hair could stand on end, it would have done. I remember leaving and thinking I don’t want to come back here again and I didn’t for a few years.”
