Pauley Perrette is “doing great” after she quit NCIS, her father told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.
The actress, 49, left the show after 15 years, claiming she was assaulted and her life was hell while filming.
Paul Perrette, the star’s dad, gave RadarOnline.com an update after she ended her run on the show.
“She’s doing great. She’s in better health now than she’s been in ages. She’s been exercising with her dogs since she got off," he said.
“I’m glad that she’s feeling better physically.”
The actress’ father told RadarOnline.com that she has not booked any new roles, but “I’ve told her that she just needs to take a break for a while. Whether she takes her dad’s advice, I really couldn’t address,” he joked.
“My interface with my daughter is on a personal basis,” Perrette’s father told RadarOnline.com. “If she’s happy, I’m happy.”
Perrette recently opened up about leaving NCIS, writing on her Twitter: "I've been supporting ant-bullying programs forever. But now I KNOW because it was ME! If it's school or work, that you're required to go to? It's horrifying. I left. Multiple Physical Assaults. I REALLY get it now. Stay safe. Nothing is worth your safety. Tell someone."
