Lock Him Up! NXIVM Sex Cult Member's Loved Ones Demand Leader Remain Behind Bars

Concerned relatives of a man allegedly involved with the NXIVM sex cult wrote a letter to federal court demanding its leader Keith Raniere remain behind bars, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Daniel and Jackie Del Negro of New York mailed in a handwritten letter to Brooklyn Federal Court claiming Raniere is a "sociopath" who should not be released from custody.

"The purpose of this correspondence is to plead with the court to not allow Keith Raniere to post bond allowing him to remain on the streets," the couple wrote.

A source confirmed to RadarOnline.com that Daniel and Jackie Del Negro are relatives of James "Jim" Del Negro. According to blogger Frank Parlato, Jim Del Negro previously divorced his wife and left his job to become "one of NXIVM's mobsters."

Daniel and Jackie explained to the court that they have been dealing with Raniere and his "group" for 15 years.

"In that time we have watched him separate good families and loved ones from one another," the concerned couple wrote.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Raniere is currently in prison facing sex trafficking charges. He was previously refused bail. NXIVM has been exposed for allegedly threatening, sexually abusing and blackmailing women. Its members are also allegedly branded with Raniere's initials.

Daniel and Jackie hint that Raniere has had a negative impact on their relative, Jim.

"It is hard to explain the diabolical hold he has on people," they wrote. "We are convinced once out of custody he will continue to destroy people's lives."

They added: "In my personal opinion he is a 'sociopath' at the very lease. Please don't allow him to do to other families what he has done to ours."

Raniere is expected in court Friday, May 4 along with Smallville actress, Allison Mack, who faces similar charges for allegedly working as his top recruiter.
