Health Crisis! NeNe's Husband Hospitalized For Food Poisoning & Heart Issues

Nene Leakes cancelled her NYC show this week after her husband was suffering in the hospital for 15 days with food poisoning and heart problems, RadarOnline.com leaned exclusively.

Insiders reveal this is Gregg's third time going to the hospital this month, and while sources tell RadarOnline.com "he is going to be okay," Nene wanted to be by his side and does not think she would be the best to her ability to perform under the circumstances.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star confirmed the news of her hubby's hospitalization in an Instagram video to her fans.

"Thank you for understanding Albany Ny and NYC Caroline’s @carolinesonbway @funnybonealbany i always want you to hear it straight from me! Thank you for your well wishes #day15 #lifeoftheleakes," she wrote as a caption alongside the clip.

This isn't the first time Gregg has been faced with health issues. In November 2017, he was admitted to the hospital after suffering chest pains.

“Gregg was admitted to the hospital because he was having chest pains and numbness,” Leakes told Cynthia Bailey in an episode of RHOA. “He thought he was feeling tingling and numbness,” and she revealed at the time.

Later in the episode he revealed his dire situation to his wife when he told her “I feel like I’m going to pass out,” as they sat by the pool in the Atlanta heat.

Several months later, Gregg had yet another health scare when he suffered a scary health crisis while filming.  A production insider told RadarOnline.com exclusively at the time Leakes’ husband may have suffered a stroke, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

“Gregg had what his doctors believe was a stroke,” the informant said. “The RHOA cameras filmed the entire ordeal for the show — including his visit to the emergency room and the aftermath. Gregg’s health serves as a major storyline for Nene on season 10.”
