Melania entered Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland on Monday morning and is expected to remain in the hospital for several days following the operation.

While President Donald Trump remained in the White House during her surgery, he is expected to pay a visit to his wife later this evening as she makes her recovery, according to reports.
She is the first US first lady to undergo a serious medical procedure while in the White House since Nancy Reagan's mastectomy in October 1987.
