Feuding Exes: Amy Roloff Was 'Blindsided' By Matt's Romance With Family Assistant

Amy Roloff was "blindsided" by the romance between her ex-husband Matt and longtime family assistant Caryn Chandler, which officially began soon after the reality TV parents' divorce papers were dry, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

According to an insider, Amy had no idea that a romance was brewing right under her nose.

"Their bond definitely happened over the years," the insider said of Matt and Caryn, who as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, recently quit working for the family after ten years.

"Caryn became this person that Matt felt understood how important the farm was to him, because she was there helping him run the day to day operations," the insider added. "But it's not fair to Amy, she was there raising his kids and running the house, and doing the other half of the duties."

Last year, Amy admitted on the show that she thought something was a bit off with the relationship.

“Caryn has been Matt’s personal assistant. Now that they’re dating, of course that’s hurtful,” Amy said.

Matt confirmed his relationship with Caryn in early 2017, but only recently stopped working for the family farm.

While the reason for Caryn's abrupt exit from her job remains a mystery, fans suspected Amy called the shots.

On a recent episode of Little People, Big World, Caryn admitted that she would be willing to leave the farm the moment her boyfriend’s ex-wife told her to do so.

“I don’t want to invade anyone’s space, and the moment Amy doesn’t want me coming around anymore, I won’t,” she told the cameras.
