Charity War! Kim Kardashian In Bust Up With Donda West Non Profit In Chicago
Kim Kardashian is at the center of a furious fight with a non-profit charity in Chicago.
Donda House – named after Kanye West's late mom – has announced they will no longer use her name.
They relayed the message via Twitter.
"Due to recent events that occurred over the last 48 hours, we have decided to longer use the name Donda's House Inc," they wrote.
"This has been an incredibly difficult situation but the social media quotes from Kim Kardashian West, as well as the expressed interest in her family running the organization, has brought us to this decision."
The trouble erupted after Rhymefest – a longtime friend of Kanye's and the creative director of Donda's House – reached out to Drake for help.
He tweeted: "Please help us rebuild Kanye's mothers house for the youth of Chicago. I spoke to Kanye about it. His response was f**k the youth of Chicago."
This prompted Kim Kardashian to go on a social media tirade, perhaps with her angry husband in cohorts.
She tweeted: "Yeezy's @RHYMEFEST You're over levergenging sic Kanye's name & asked Kanye to donate money to u so stop w your fake community politics & lies. Truth is you haven't been able to sustain the foundation."
And added: "I saw you at our studio a few weeks ago so why didn't you bring this up then @RHYMEFEST ? You were trying to get Kanye to listen to your sub par beats. You have the audacity to use Kanye's mom name to try to shead a negative light on Kanye … You better believe I will make it my mission to take Donda's House from you and let my children run it the way it should be run! @RHYMEFEST.
Before finishing: "Sorry to all of my followers for flooding my timeline I know you have no idea who Rhymefest is."
Rhymefest replied: "The people in my community and in my city do, and that's what truly matters to me."
Donda's House started to hit out at West on Friday claiming they had been unable to get in touch with him to help secure finding organization.
They also demanded that people start to boycott the rapper while still sending them donations.
They added: "We do not want your rejection of Kanye West, to be a rejection of Dr. Donda West and the thousands of lives she impacted including her own son."
