Kanye West has battled it out with everyone from Taylor Swift to Beck — and now he’s taking on singing legend Whitney Houston’s family by refusing to back down to their demands!

RadarOnline.com spoke exclusively to Houston's cousin, music producer Damon Elliott, who had some choice words for Yeezy.

“He needs help! He needs to check himself into a mental institution,"Elliott, exclusively told RadarOnline.com.

“He’s hurting us by using this painful photograph of Whitney when she was not in her best state. She’s family, this isn’t a publicity stunt.”

As RadarOnline.com reported, the self-proclaimed genius paid $85,000 to use a throwback photograph of the late diva's bathroom, filled with drugs and drug paraphernalia, as artwork for the cover of Pusha T’s new album, DAYTONA, which West produced.

Now, according to a source close to West, the rapper thinks he’s the victim and thinks Houston’s loved ones need to "stop talking trash” about him.

"Kanye wants Whitney's people to kill all that noise and stop talking and saying they're disappointed in him," the source told RadarOnline.com, noting West, 40, “wasn't trying to disrespect Whitney.”

“There are plenty of people in her own family who are doing that,” said the source. “To be honest, he thinks the family member who took that picture in the first place is the one they need to be mad at!”

"He has no respect for me, Whitney or our family. This really hurts. I seriously think he needs help. This is not cool,” Elliot countered. "I want him to apologize to our family and change the album cover.”

Despite all the behind-the-scenes drama, there’s a bigger reason why West won’t apologize for his decision.

"He's accomplished exactly what he wanted," the source explained, “and thatwas to get people talking about and publicizing Pusha T's album."

West, added the source, "loved Whitney," thought the singer was one ofthe "greatest voices ever," and feels he's keeping her "relevant."
