Kaley Cuoco Slams 'Frivolous' Car Crash Lawsuit
Kaley Cuoco said the man suing her for a fender bender that happened more than two years ago needs to pump the breaks on his false claims.
In court papers obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, the Big Bang Theory actress responded to the various claims made by a man named Kevin Teruya, who said the star rear-ended his Mercedes-Benz with her Range Rover at the intersection of Reseda Boulevard and Country Club Place in Tarzana, CA on March 30, 2016.
Teruya is suing Cuoco for pain and suffering, loss of wages, loss of use of the vehicle and medical expenses. Cuoco denied all the allegations, called the suit “frivolous” and added the alleged injuries suffered by Teruya were caused by Teruya's own negligence.
Cuoco’s attorneys said the 2016 incident was an “unavoidable” and wasn’t caused by Cuoco. They further argued if Teruya was “damaged in any manner whatsoever, that said damage was a direct and result of intervening and superseding actions on the part of other parties and/or third parties.”
