Cancer-Stricken Abby Lee Miller Counts Down Final Days Of Her Prison Sentence
Gravely ill Abby Lee Miller has let fans know she is almost free at last—from her prison sentence!
The former Dance Moms star is still hospitalized and in a desperate battle against cancer.
But Miller revealed via Instagram that she's counting down the days before she's being legally released from custody this Friday, May 25.
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported last month, a source said Miller's hospitalization due to her horrific cancer crisis would exempt her from having to serve the remainder of her prison sentence in a Los Angeles halfway house.
Miller, 51, confirmed that this week, writing on Instagram on Sunday, May 20, next to a photo of an astronaut, "Blast off!!! Get ready for the countdown... I’ve got 5 to survive #5daystogo #freeabbylee" she wrote.
Fans were at first confused but then figured out Miller was referring to being released from government custody on May 25.
On Tuesday, Miller took to Instagram again to celebrate following her release from prison in March.
“4 more….. hear me roar,” she captioned a photo of herself with her mouth open and pointing happily.
Then the former dance teacher posted an Instagram picture of an excited guy on Wednesday with the caption, "There’s only 3, to free Abby Lee!!!! #3daystogo #freeabbylee #free #dancemoms."
Miller spent eight and a half months in prison after pleading guilty to not reporting an international monetary transaction and one count of concealing bankruptcy assets.

RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed on March 27 that the former Dance Moms star had been transferred from Victorville federal prison to a halfway house in Van Nuys, California. But just days later, Miller's medical crisis began!
On April 17, Miller went into surgery for a multi-level laminectomy after she experienced "excruciating neck pain" and weakness in her arm.
She was ultimately diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, a rare and fast-growing cancer that affects the lymph nodes.
Since then, Miller, who was disgraced by her financial misdeeds, has been getting her business affairs, will and funeral plans in order, according to a RadarOnline.com insider.
"She’s strong, but not good. The cancer is bad and very aggressive,” a source close to the notorious reality teacher exclusively told RadarOnline.com. "She is devastated because she has just been released, and now this. She feels cursed.”
But at least Miller has one thing to smile about this week as her incarceration will be officially over!
