Will Ferrell Car ‘Lost Control,’ Passenger Hospitalized With ‘Major Injuries’

Will Ferrell was rushed to the hospital with minor injuries after being involved in a serious car accident on Thursday night. RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusive details on the crash that left four people hospitalized, including the comedian.

In the police report obtained from Department of California Highway Patrol, Ferrell, 50, was the passenger of a 2017 Lincoln Navigator that was involved in a two-car collision at 10:50pm in Orange County.

“2007 Toyota was traveling on I-5, north of La Paz road, in the #2 lane,” the collision report read. “Ferrell’s vehicle was traveling next to the 2007 Toyota in the HOV-lane.”

For an “unknown reason,” the 2007 Toyota “veered into the HOV lane” and “struck the right rear of” the car Ferrell was in.

“The 2017 Lincoln lost control, hit the center divider and overturned,” the report explained.

“All occupants in the Lincoln navigator (4 including driver) were taken to nearby hospitals,” the Public Information Officer told RadarOnline.com of the car Ferrell was in. “One of the passengers, a 27-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital with major injuries.”

The police report explained how the woman was not wearing her seatbelt.

The PIO added, “Alcohol and drugs were not a factor. No citations were given and no arrests were made.”

In video obtained from the scene, the actor is seen on his phone while being loaded into an ambulance.

The actor was on his way back from a “Funny or Die” event.
