'Furious' Sean Penn Demands Troubled Son Hopper Go Back To Rehab After Drug Arrest

Sean Penn and Robin Wright's drug-addict son Hopper in currently detained at a Hamilton County, Nebraska, jail after being arrested for possession of marijuana and mushrooms and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the actor is "furious!"

A family insider said Sean is so upset with Hopper he "doesn't even want to talk to him at the moment." He is pissed off and feels like he let him down and threw all of the opportunities that he gave him down the toilet," a family insider said.

"Hopper looks up to his father a lot and he was doing really well after his latest stint in rehab, but he recently fell in with the wrong crowd in L.A. and he picked up right where he left off in his addiction."

"It is just sad," the source told RadarOnline.com, adding that Sean, 57 — who openly battled his own demons while at the height of his career in the 80's — "is not going to bail Hopper out of this one!"

"He is going to give him one more chance and has ordered him to to go rehab as soon as he is out and it isn't going to be one of those easy-breezy rehabs either. He wants him to check into a longterm facility and clean himself up for good, or else."

"This is the last straw for him and as much as this pains him, Hopper is just lucky he is still alive," the insider told RadarOnline.com, blaming his parents messy divorce as a possible reason for Hopper's losing battle with addiction.

As RadarOnline.com reported, Hopper was pulled over by Nebraska police — along with his 26-year-old girlfriend, actress Uma Von Wittcamp.

Officer Cody Thompson told RadarOnline.com, "During the traffic stop, the trooper detected drug activity and searched the vehicle. Troopers found 14g of marijuana, 4 amphetamine pills and 3g of psilocybin mushrooms."

Hopper was charged with possession of one ounce of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance (psilocybin).
