Delaying Justice! ‘Jersey Shore’s Mike Sorrentino’s Tax Fraud Sentencing Postponed

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has a few more months to party it up before he faces a judge. RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the Jersey Shore star and his brother Marc’s tax fraud sentencing has been postponed.

According to the United States District Court of New Jersey, the court hearing was been moved from April 25, 2018 to June 20, 2018.

In September 2014, the Federal Grand Jury indicted the brothers for failing to pay taxes on $8.9 million of income. They were also accused of filing false tax returns with the IRS in relation to Mike’s businesses.

Mike was hit with more charges of tax evasion and structuring funds to evade currency-transaction reports in April 2017. His brother was charged with falsifying records to obstruct a grand jury investigation.

Mike, 35, pled guilty to one count of tax evasion in January and faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison.

Marc, 38, pled guilty to one count of aiding in the preparation of a fraudulent tax return, facing up to three years in prison.
