Kanye’s Longtime Friend ‘Concerned For His Life’ Amid Twitter Meltdown

Even one of Kanye West’s longtime friends is worried about his mental state, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

Rapper GLC, born as Leonard Harris, exclusively told RadarOnline.com that he saw West’s downward spiral happening “a long time ago.”

“There was several times I saw it coming! When I saw him at the Video Music Awards talking about Beyonce. That was a true example of how he valued the validation of others,” GLC said.

GLC, who lives in Chicago, was friends with West back when the two were in high school. GLC said the Saint Pablo rapper is not the same person he used to be.

“I’m concerned for his life and for his wellbeing,” GLC told RadarOnline.com. “This obviously isn’t the same mother f**ker that made College Dropout.”

GLC said he tried reaching out to West in recent years, beginning in 2013, when he figured something was up with his longtime friend. Ultimately, GLC said the rapper couldn’t get through to him.

Now, West’s friend said he believes Kim Kardashian’s husband is still in a bad state of mind.

“I haven’t even had the desire to see him in person in a while because I don’t want to be around that kind of energy,” said West.

The Chicago resident said West “has the power to isolate himself” and blamed that as the reason the “people around him” are not getting him the help he needs.

“Whoever the f**k is around him, they are not trying to shut this s**t down because they are in fear,” GLC said.

“They are in fear because if Kanye doesn’t want to f**k with you anymore, he just won’t f**k with you no more,” the friend continued.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, West broke his social media silence last week when he referred to Twitter as his “book.”

He’s since compared himself to Steve Jobs and supported Donald Trump, sending fans and even his close friend, John Legend, into a frenzy.
