Adea Shabani’s Death Ruled As Homicide After Body Is Found In Shallow Grave

Adea Shabani’s death has been ruled as a homicide, after investigators found her body in a shallow Nevada grave and matched up her tattoos.
The County Sheriff’s office stated that the 25-year-old actress’s cause of death is still being determined, but it being treated as a murder because of the evidence on her body.
“It appears Ms. Shabani sustained blunt force trauma to her head but final determination of cause is dependent upon toxicology and tissue analysis. No other major trauma was observed on Ms. Shabani's person,” they shared in a Facebook statement this March 27.

Earlier this month, the deceased beauty’s boyfriend brought a shocking twist to the case, when he shot himself dead during a police standoff. Christopher Spotz, 33, was driving a stolen Toyota Tacoma authorities believed had “possibly been used in a homicide which had occurred in Los Angeles County,” California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Dan Olivas revealed in a statement.

Shabani’s body was soon found in northeast of Sacramento. At a press conference, police said they believed the actress’ boyfriend — who was the last to see the actress before her disappearance — was “somehow involved in her death,” but they could not question him because he took his own life.
