A four-person gang was just charged with raping and brutally assaulting a 16-year-old girl inside a sick “torture chamber.”
According to police, the teen was taken hostage in Auburn, Massachusetts, and aggressively tortured by the young criminals with a machete and lit cigarettes. She was taken by the gang after running away from her New Jersey home.
Police found her inside the secret basement on December 27.
Krystal Lugo, 23, brother Christopher Lugo, 19, boyfriend Yariel Torres-Abee, 22, and Yuleny Ortiz, 19, have now been charged with various offenses, including kidnapping and assault.
Christopher Lugo was also charged with rape.
The girl told police that Krystal Lugo and Ortiz picked her up on Christmas Day. They reportedly believed she had something to do with a drug-related attack inside their home, so they duct-taped her to a chair inside their basement to interrogate her. They then allegedly gave her marijuana laced with Xanax and took turns sexually assaulting her. She claimed they pressed a machete to her throat and burned her with cigarettes.
They also shaved her head. Police found her hair in a Christmas bag.
