The Wonder Years star Fred Savage was accused of sexual harassment by a stylist – when he was just 16. As RadarOnline.com has learned, former ABC costume designer, Monique Long, filed a lawsuit against the actor, saying he acted inappropriately towards her while they filmed the show in 1993.
She told the Los Angeles Superior Court at the time that she couldn't do her job and was fired because teenage Savage constantly wanted to hold her hand. She also alleged that he requested an affair and made sexual remarks towards her.
Long dropped the lawsuit after ABC settled the lawsuit.
Savage spoke about the lawsuit to SF Gate in 1996 after the lawsuit was dropped, saying, "I was completely exonerated. I really don't want to talk about it. It was a terrible experience."
Actress Alley Mills, who played Savage's mother in the popular series, told Yahoo that the network decided to cancel The Wonder Years after its sixth season because of the sexual harassment accusations against Savage, 41, and costar Jason Hervey.

"When we shot the series finale…nobody knew whether or not The Wonder Years was going to be renewed. And that's because of a completely ridiculous sexual harassment suit that was going on against Fred Savage — who is like, the least offensive, most wonderful, sweet human being that ever walked the face of the Earth," she said.
"It's a little bit like what's happening now — some innocent people can get caught up in this stuff; it's very tricky. It was so not true. It was my dresser, and I don't care if she's listening — I probably shouldn't be telling this, but I don't care because it was so long ago and it's gotta be over now," Mills added.
She told Yahoo that she thought the claims against Savage were "a joke" and that she was extremely "mad" that ABC paid of the actor's female accuser.
"They wanted to avoid a scandal or something, but it made them look guilty. You know, you don't pay someone off when there was no crime, you just fire the girl," Alley Mills concluded.
