Stay Away! Dakota Johnson's 'Protective' Dad Suspicious Of Her New Man
Don Johnson recently joked that his daughter Dakota's relationship with much-older man Chris Martin was "troubling" — but sources told RadarOnline.com that the Golden Globe winner was totally serious, and has been scrutinizing the "Scientist" singer's every move!
While Don and ex-wife Melanie Griffith are happy their 28-year-old daughter has found love with rocker Martin, a source told RadarOnline.com, "They're both very protective."
The 40-year-old Coldplay frontman, who split from ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow in 2014, is moving fast with the Fifty Shades of Grey beauty — and they've only been dating since October.
"It's not even been six months and apparently she's already saying he's The One," the source said. "She's fallen completely in love ."
"Dakota's parents can't help but worry that Chris is eventually going to leave her with a broken heart," continued the source. "Don was a huge player himself when he was younger, and he's convinced Chris hasn't gotten that out of his system yet. He says he can tell."

Johnson and Martin were recently photographed arm in arm on the beach in Malibu on Jan. 14 — ending the night with dinner at L.A.'s swanky Soho House.
"She's only ever had two boyfriends," the source revealed, "and her parents worry that she could be getting swept up in this way too fast."
In an interview with Digital Spy yesterday, Johnson commented on the romance: "Yeah, that's... uh troubling, isn't it? No, she's a big girl, she can handle herself!"
